James Ernest Davis

James Ernest Davis, age 67, of Mount Hope, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 20, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Born September 14, 1947 at Diana, WV, he was the son the late James”Jim” and Flora Schrader Davis.
James was a retired water plant worker and attended the Price Hill Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Ellen Sandy Davis and by a brother John Davis.
Survivors include his daughters, Melissa Davis and Troy and Mary Davis all of Mount Hope, Diane Davis of Texas; two step daughters, Richie Pugh and husband Alfred of Webster Springs and Roxie Hochstein and husband Jimmy of Mount Hope. Also surviving is a speical friend, Tammy Mullens of Mount Hope and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 7:30 PM Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Jessie Parker officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM on Thursday, March 26, 2015.
Mr. Davis will be cremeated following services.
