James D. Nix

James David Nix , 67, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born September 22, 1944 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late James Ray and Helen Elizabeth Lucas Nix. He was a self employed carpet installer. James was a US Air Force veteran. Survivors include two step-daughters, Louise Hunt and husband, C.D. of Beaver and Barbara Painter and husband, Tom of Oak Hill, one brother, Charles Nix of Oak Hill, and one sister, Karen Hanlin of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by a step-granddaughter, Ka Fortner and husband, Jason of Prosperity and a niece, Debbie Kuntz and husband, Pete of Dallas, TX and three nephews, Matthew Nix, Andrew Nix and Mark Nix. Mr. Nix was cremated. A memorial service will be on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hillwith Pastor Randy McGuire officiating.
