James Carson Bell

James Carson Bell, age 16, of Kilsyth, WV, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Born January 21, 1995 in Beckley, WV, he was the son of Laura Hicks Bell of Kilsyth and John W. Bell, Sr. of Coal City, WV. James attended Mount Hope High School and Mount Hope United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Emily “Sissy” Hicks and by paternal grandparents, James and Ivalene Bell. Survivors in addition to his parents include, his brother, J. W. Bell, Jr. of Pax, his two sisters, Emilee Hicks of Beckley and Jessica Hicks of Sweeneysburg Road, and his maternal grandfather, C. C. Hicks of Kilsyth, WV. Also surviving are his two nieces, Jewelian Pennington and Addison Boggs and by one nephew Kolton Pennington. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Pastor Mike Gunnoe officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Tuesday, November 29, 2011.
