Jackie Joe Coffman , 83, of Minden, died on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at VA Medical Center, Beckley,
Born February 20, 1935 at Corrine, he was the son of the late Frederick and Alberta Price Coffman.
Jackie was a retired Welder/Fabricator for Long Airdox & Ohio Brass. He was a US Army veteran having been stationed in Germany.
He was preceded in death by wife, Cora Ayers Coffman; and son, Jackie Coffman, II
Survivors include daughters, Sherry (Rob) Coffelt of Oak Hill, Angela Coffman of Minden and Annetta Coffman of Minden; daughter-in-law, Sandy Coffman; sisters, Brenda Kuhn and Linda (Gary) Lilly; grandchildren, Jillian (Mon) Lynch, Jackie (Hannah) Coffman, III, Morgan (Tyler) Tolbert, Dalton Kincaid, Branson England, Nikolas England, Bren (Joe) Coffelt-Dendy, Eddie (Brittany) Coffelt, and Timothy Clemons; and great grandchildren, , Dietrick Penn, Samiah Lynch, Jayla Lynch, Hailey Clemons, Olivia Coffman, Isabelle Coffman, Charlotte Dendy, Quinn Dendy, Keeley Coffelt, Porter Coffelt, and Kyson Cofflet.
A memorial service will be on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Minden Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald Richards and George Shuff officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
The family extends thanks to the 3rd and 4th floor VA staff.
