Jack James, Sr.

Jack L. James, Sr. 67, of North Sand Branch, WV died on Friday, October 17, 2003 at CAMC - Memorial Division in Charleston, WV. Born December 18, 1935 at North Sand Branch, WV he was the son of the late Emory and Anna Evans James. He was a former employee of Sophia Electric & Gunter Electric. Mr. James attended the Little Valley Baptist Church and Weirwood Community Church. He was a role model for his family and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Barbara Duncan James Sons: Jack L. James, Jr. and wife, Karen, of North Sand Branch Roger L. James and wife, Nancy, of North Sand Branch Grandsons: Jackie E. James and wife, Lisa, of North Sand Branch Jason James of North Sand Branch Granddaughter: Bobie Sue Lyons of North Sand Branch Great granddaughters: Kelsie Jo James and Cierra Faith James both of North Sand Branch Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Sunday, October 19, 2003, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Mondya, October 20, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Tom Lilly and Rev. Junior Plumley officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
