Dreama J. Blevins Stewart , 68, of Prosperity, WV died on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born October 09, 1943 at Wriston, WV she was the daughter of the late Carl David and Gladys Alerene Light Blevins. Mrs. Stewart retired from the US government with 30 years service, more than 20 of which were with the Social Security Administration. She was a 1962 graduate of Collins High School in Oak Hill. Dreama was a lifelong member of the Wriston First Church of God. A member of the Raleigh-Fayette Genealogy Society she had received the West Virginia History Hero award from the state legislature. She loved going to the Smokey Mountains and Dollywood. Survivors include her husband, Carl J. Stewart, one stepson, Gregory Dale Stewart of Prosperity, two step-daughters, Donna K. Tippitts of Unionville, IN and Zettie Lynn Boyd of Prosperity, one sister, Donna Hall of Hilltop, and a special aunt, Nilah Burford. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Kathy Vaught, Karen Underwood and Jason Hall and great nieces and nephews, Ashley Vaught, Jessica Vaught, Jordan Vaught, Cameron Underwood, Natalie Underwood, Maxwell Underwood and Jaycee Hall. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Chester Easterling officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
