Irvin L. Price

Irvin Lee Price, 86, of Wriston, WV died on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at his home. Born March 13, 1921 at Ohley, WV he was the son of the late Fred and Lula Robertson Price. Mr. Price was a retired coal miner. He was a member of the Loup Creek Baptist Church, Wriston and the UMWA. He served in the US Army, 82nd Airborne during World War II. Survivors include wife, Emma J. Garrett Price; four sons, David Kevin Price and Larry Price both of Wriston, WV, Sidney Price and wife, Mary Lou of Ingram Branch, WV and Ricky Price and wife, Tammy of Oak Hill, WV; one daughter, Karen Foreman and husband, Mike of Evans, WV and two sisters, Aileen Treadway of Oak Hill, WV and Nancy Garlan of Port St. Jo, FL. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services will be on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Mike Foreman officiating and Eulogy by Jeremy Price. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill with military graveside rites by VFW Post #3110, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Loup Creek Baptist Church, Rt 2 Box 144, Fayetteville WV 25840.
