Ida Ruth Heater Wickline , 89, of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Hilltop Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hilltop, WV.
Born June 17, 1925 at Holly, WV she was the daughter of the late Porter and Ida Mae Robinson Heater.
Ida was a member of the Duffy United Methodist Church.
She was former owner of Gassaway Drive In at Gassaway; was an E.M.T. for several years and a mail carrier.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Wickline; brothers, James H. Robinson, Merit F. Heater and Russell Heater; sister, Martha Heater; and son in law, Gary Brown.
She is survived by a loving family which includes daughters, Helen Brown of Chillicothe, OH, Karen Collins and partner, Tim Lightner of Oak Hill, Audra Galford and husband, Don of Oak Hill and Dawn Balcom and husband, Jim of Louisville, KY; sons, Richard Heater and wife, Sharon of West Union, OH and Ronald Campbell of Mount Hope; twenty seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their thanks for Ida's caregivers, Karen Collins and Teresa Gill .
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Graveside rites and committal service will then be conducted at 2:30 pm the McCutchan Chapel Cemetery in Ireland, WV.
