Howard Edgar Pearson , 78, of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, March 06, 2016 at his home.
Born September 03, 1937 at Georgetown, IL he was the son of the late Dean and Irene Jackson Pearson.
Howard was a CPA. He was retired as assistant secretary/treasurer for New River Company and had been a regional manager for the North Carolina ABC.
He was instrumental in the development of the Fayetteville Little League.
A sister, Esther Hires preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Constance A. Canterbury Pearson; one daughter, Kelly Elaine Pearson of Oak Hill; son, Kyle Dwaine Pearson of Glenwood; two stepchildren, Steven Humphrey of Capon Bridge and Barbara Humphrey of Staunton, VA; one sister, Phyllis Taylor of Springfield, IL; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Rev. Mitch "Skee" Barley officiating. Burial will be at Humphrey Cemetery, School House Hill Road in Pax. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
