Hildegarde Ackerman Dempsey

Hildegarde Gertrude Ackerman Dempsey, 88, of Fayetteville, WV entered into Heaven on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born May 23, 1927, she was the daughter of the late William and Estelle Bundschuh Ackerman.
She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Oak Hill.
Her husband Jack Coleman Dempsey preceded her in death.
Survivors include her four daughters and two sons, Mark Jon (Nancy) Dempsey of Beckley, Juliana Kirsch (Butch) of Michigan, Margaret (Craig) Mook of North Carolina, Michele (Jim) Croyle of Michigan, Paula Dempsey of Florida, William (Shawn) Dempsey of Fayetteville and Charis (Mark) Jolliffe of South Carolina.; nineteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers and a sister, Paul Ackerman, Robert Ackerman, and Norma Ackerman all of Ohio.
As per her wishes, Hildegarde was cremated.
A memorial service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fremont, Ohio on April 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Michael Zacharias officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph / St. Ann Cemetery in Fremont.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia, PO Box 1472, Beckley WV 25802.
