Hilda Weeks

Hilda Louise Bowyer Weeks, 81, of Bradley, WV died Friday, September 26, 2003 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital, Beckley after a long illness. She was born at Cirtsville, WV, a daughter of the late John W. and Jessie Mae Howard Bowyer. She was a beloved wife and mother. A member of the Maynor Free Will Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie (Tom) Weeks, one daughter, M. Lynn Weeks Chappell, two grandsons, Jacob Chappell and Matthew Weeks, one sister, Jane Bowyer Sweeney. SURVIVORS include her two sons, Bernard Hugh Weeks and wife, Sue of Bradley, WV and Tommie Lewis Weeks and wife, Sue of Indiahoma, Oklahoma, two brothers, Howard Bowyer of Grandview, WV and Herbert Bowyer of Sand Branch, WV, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Services Tuesday, September 30, at 2:00 P. M. with Rev. Forrest Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
