Hershal "Eddie" Edward Sears , 72, of Richmond, VA died on Saturday, September 06, 2014 at his home.
Born August 03, 1942 at Beury Mountain, WV he was the son of the late Hershal Dayton and Bessie Magdeline Propps Sears.
He was a retired Yardman for Eubank Truck, Inc..
Eddie was a Vietnam veteran having served in the US Army.
Survivors include daughter, Tonya Lafferty of Oak Hill; son, Scott Sears of Oak Hill; two stepsons, David and Niki of Pennsylvania; brother, John Dayton Sears of Oak Hill; sister, Brenda Taylor and her husband, Glen of Chesterfield, VA; two grandchildren, Destiny Lafferty and Jeffery Lafferty, Jr.; loving nieces and nephews along with other extended family and many friends.
Services will be on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park., Oak Hill with military rites by Oak Hill VFW Post #3110.
Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
