Helen Wise

Helen Frisby Wise, 79, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, January 26, 2004 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV following a short illness. Born June 15, 1924 at Page, WV she was the daughter of the late William "Bill" and Rosa Allie Sublett Frisby. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse having worked for Dr. for Dr. W.P. Bittinger & Plateau Medical Center. Mrs. Wise was a member of the Oak Hill Christian Church, Oak Hill Art League and member and past president of Woodland Oaks Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Elizabeth Wise; brother, Samuel Frisby; sisters, Reba Frisby and Willie Burgess. Survivors include daughters: Vi-Eva Wise Ferda and husband, Brian, of Wellsburg and Holly Kania and fiancee, Ron Whitt of Oak Hill Sisters, Merriem McCormick of Oak Hill and Elaine Burgess of Orlando, FL Grandchildren: Courtney Kania of Oak Hill; Teddy Kania of Oak Hill and Amanda Ferda of Wellsburg Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Wednesday, January 28, 2004, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Thursday, January 29, 2004 at 11:00 am at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
