Helen Vento

Helen Davis Vento, of Glen Jean, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Fayette Continuous Care Center, Fayetteville. She was born at Mahoney City, PA, a daughter of the late Lewis and Anna Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Glen Jean Union Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Vento; one son, Daniel G. Vento; three brothers, John Davis, Bryant Davis and Willie Davis; one sister, Marry Reel. Survivors include her daughter, Judy Vento Learmonth and her husband, William "Buddy" of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Carol Jane Learmonth, Jennifer Kincaid and her husband, Bobby of Crab Orchard and Scott Vento of Westerville, OH; two great-grandchildren, Brett Gadomski and Laken Kincaid. The Vento family wishes to thank the staff of both The Summit for two and one half years of wonderful care and Fayette Continuous Care Center for their care in the final days of her life. Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Rev. Michael Kessinger officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
