Helen M. Trail

Helen Marie Richardson Trail,70, died Monday, July 4, 2005, at her home following a long illness. Born June 26, 1935, at Catherine, WV, a daughter of Thelma Kincaid Richardson of Oak Hill and the late Adam Wade Richardson, Sr. Mrs. Trail was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She looked forward to visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her only son, Steven R. Trail; a brother, Adam Wade Richardson, Jr.and a sister, Katherine Ann Farley Beckendorfer. Other survivors include her husband, Gilbert R. Trail of Oak Hill; four daughters, Debbie Trail Bailey of Princeton, Victoria Arthur of Mt. Olive, NC, Patricia Hiser of Sullivan, Maine, and Paulette Ellison of Princeton; a brother, George G. Richardson of Buckhannon; two sisters, Sylvia Smith of Oak Hill and Connie Sue Smith of Beckley; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with the Rev. Robert Barley officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Donations of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia and Nurses, Box 1472, Beckley, WV 25802. The family would like to extend their special thanks to Dr. Bembalker and nurse, the staff of B.A.R.H. and Home Health Store. Pallbearers will be Jim Arthur, Eric Arthur, David A. Smith, Darrell Smith, Oscar Farley and Steven Fox.
