Helen Watters Rowe

Helen Marie Watters Rowe, 81, of Elkton, MD formerly of Oak Hill died Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the home of her son, Larry Kirby in Elkton, MD. Born November 26, 1927 at Oak Hill, WV, she was a daughter of the late Patrick Dewey Watters and Lottie Belle Spencer Watters Osborne. Helen was a homemaker and a member of the Summerlee Wesleyan Church at Summerlee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Rowe, and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Painter and husband, Roger of North East, MD. Shirley Latvala and husband, Bob of Elkton, MD; two sons, Gary Kirby and wife, Donna of West Grove, PA and Larry Kirby and wife, Cheryl of Elkton, MD; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Darrell Prater officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
