Helen M. Miller

Helen Mae Craighead Miller, 89, of Melbourne, FL formerly of Scarbro, WV died on Saturday, August 04, 2007 at the home of her daughter, Suzie. Born November 11, 1917 at Beckley, WV she was the daughter of the late Hubert B. and Ocie Blankenship Craighead. Mrs. Miller attended the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Miller on December 4, 1987; a son, Donald Miller; a sister, Margaret Fink; brother, Robert Craighead and one grandchild. Survivors include six children, Pattie Gregg of Austin, TX, Shirley Buckner and husband, Don of Salisbury, NC, Ted Miller of Cookeville, TN, Ella Mae Bergendahl and husband, Ed of Roanoke, VA, Suzie Miller of Melbourne, FL and one sister, Betty VanKirk of Cocoa, FL. She was blessed with many grandchldren and great grandchildren. She was also blessed with additional family and loving friends in both West Virginia and Florida. Graveside rites and committal will be on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Wildwood Cemetery in Beckley with Rev. Jerry Bush officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, August 9, 2007, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Friday, August 10, 2007 from 12:30 - 1:30 PM.
