Helen Bowyer

Helen L. Farr Bowyer, 87, of Clarksville, IN died on Sunday, October 30, 2005 in a Clarksville, IN care center following a long illness. Born June 10, 1918 at Sharpes, WV she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Edna Mitchell Farr, Sr.. Mrs. Bowyer was a member of the United Methodist Church, Oak Hill, WV and was a homemaker. Her husband, Ambrose "Buzz" Bowyer and a son, James Bowyer preceded her in death. Survivors include one daughter, Pat Treadway and husband, C.R., of Clarksville, IN; daughter-in-law, Jean Bowyer of Southgate, MI; one brother, Stanley Farr, Jr. of Morgantown, WV and by 6 grandchldren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Wednesday, November 2, 2005, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Services will be on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
