Helen Bokovitz Bernath

Helen May "Cooky" Bokovitz Bernath , 81, of Scarbro died on Sunday, June 04, 2017 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
Born July 31, 1935 at Carlisle, WV she was the daughter of the late Joseph Jacob and Ann Wojtowicz Bokovitz.
Mrs. Bernath retired from C&P Telephone Company. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild; Scarbro Reunion Committee; and a 1953 graduate of Collins High School..
Survivors include husband, Billy J. Bernath; fourteen nieces and nephews; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 12:00 noon at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill with Father Symeon Galazka officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the church with Wake Service at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley WV 25801.
