Hattie Marie Menei Cottle, 58, of Mount Hope passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Born November 13, 1964 in Beckley, WV she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Phyllis Grimmett Menei.
Hattie was a proud 1983 graduate from Mount Hope High School, worked for 25 plus years as a Administrative Supervisor at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital, and her greatest joy in life was being surrounded by her family especially her grandkids whom she loved dearly.
Those left to cherish her wonderful and loving memory include her husband of 37 years Michael Cottle, Sr.; daughter, Britney Maynor (Jonathan); son, Michael Cottle II; 4 grandchildren, Ethan Cottle, Joseph Cottle, Benson Cottle, and Grayson Maynor; 2 brothers, Mickey Menei (Melissa) and Thomas Menei; and along with many nieces and nephews
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Pastor Tom Fife officiating. Burial will follow at Hilltop Cemetery in Hilltop, WV/
Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home in Mount Hope.
Paul bearers will be Michael Cottle II, Jonathan Maynor, Ritchie Cottle, Kenny Cottle, Nico Menei, and Charlie Conelly.
