Harvey Buford Maynor,63,of Toney's Fork went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV following a short illness. He was born May 24, 1942 at Clear Creek, a son of the late Elmer and Ollie Bailey Maynor. He was a retired coal miner. Harvey was a member of the Sycamore Church of God. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather,great grandfather, brother and a loyal friend to many. One brother, Harless Maynor and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dillard and Margie Workman preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Wilma Workman Maynor; two sons, Harvey Lee Maynor of Toney's Fork, WV and Eric Maynor and wife, Gaynell of Naoma, WV; eight grandchildren, Erica Maynor, Jason Maynor, Courtney Williams and her husband, Jake, Amber Massey, Ethan Maynor, Nicholas Maynor, Nathan Maynor and Caitlyn Maynor and two great grandchildren, Clayton and Kaylee Williams. He is also survived by one brother, Clarence Maynor of Jeffersonville, IN.; three sisters, Flossie Mullins of Packs Branch,WV and Stella Craddock and Rodie Stover both of Maple Fork, WV; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Visitation will be held at the Sycamore Church of God on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Graveside rites and committal service will be on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at 12:00 PM at the Toney's Fork Cemetery, Ewing Creek, WV with Rev. Jerry Tyree and Scott Stanley officiating. Pallbearers will be Justin Stover, Jake Williams, Randy Williams, Scottie Stanley and Rick Blizzard.
