Harry K. Price

Harry K. Price, 77, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, September 06, 2006 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born August 31, 1929 at Hernshaw, WV he was the son of the late William Thomas "Bill" and Goldie Mae Kirk Price. He was retired from Long Airdox, Oak Hill, WV. Harry was a member of the Oak Hill United Methodist Church and the Bible Class. He was a Ham (Amateur Radio) Operator, served on the Oak Hill Volunteer Fire Department for 29 years and was a past member of the Oak Hill Lions Club and Civitan Club. He was a WV National Guard veteran. A brother, Curtis K. Price and two sisters, Myrtle Alma Price and Betty Jo Price preceded him in death. Survivors include wife, Norma "Bo" Price; two sons, David Price and wife, Jennifer of Charlotte, NC and Tim Price of Vacaville, CA; brother, Charles Price of Harrisburg, NC; two grandchildren, Nikki Coffman and husband, Dave of Fort Mill, SC and Griffin Price of Charlotte, NC Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, September 8, 2006 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at Oak Hill United Methodist Church with Dr. John Sauvage officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. Men of the church will serve as pallbearers.
