Harrison O. Ash, Jr.

Harrison Oliver Ash Jr., 74, of San Rafael, CA passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in San Rafael, CA. Born June 27, 1937 at Detroit, MI he was the son of the late Harrison Oliver Ash, Sr. and Alfreda Brash Ash. Mr. Ash retired in Marin County, CA where he lived out the rest of his life surrounded by his family. Life will not be the same without him, he will be missed dearly by all who loved him. Survivors include his two daughters, Elizabeth "Bee" Ash-Allen and husband, Judson and Katherine "Kim" Jerve and sister, Susanne Ash-Mayfield and husband, John C. A granddaughter, Katie Maganalli and grandson, Michael Peters also survive. Harrison was overjoyed by the recent arrival of his great granddaughters, Holly Elizabeth and Siria Rose. Funeral services will be on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. David Sneed officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
