Harriett Miller

Harriett "Granny" Blake Miller, 86, of Scarbro, WV died on Sunday, June 29, 2003 at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born August 23, 1916 at Scarbro, WV she was the daughter of the late Judson and Evelyn Lee Riggle Blake. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Scarbro Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius T. Miller and a brother, Pat Adair Blake Survivors include 3 daughters: Janet Staples and husband, Norman, of Port Charollete, FL Sharon L. Dickinson of Scarbro Judy Rodes and husband, Tom, of Oak Hill 10 grandchildren 22 great grandchildren 5 great great grandchildren Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 1, 2003, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Services will be on Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill. Bob Creed will be officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, WV
