Harold "Windy" Ford

After battling cancer for 30 days, Harold "Windy" Dean Ford , 68, of Artie, WV died on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV
Born August 02, 1948 at Alpoca, WV he was the son of the late Arnold and Eliza Margaret Brown Ford.
He was a coal mine foreman for Massey Energy. Windy was a member of the Artie Church of God and a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam era.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 25 years, Chloa Burgess Ford; daughter, Andrea (Matthew) Walker of Oak Hill; a grandson who was the apple of his paw paw eye, Landon Huffman; granddaughter, Izebella Humphrey; Matt's children, Kairi and Bubby Walker; his twin sister, Carol (Tommy) Payne of Midway; and brother, Douglas (Carol) Ford of South Carolina.
Services will be on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Artie Church of God with Pastor Jerry Lawrence officiating. Burial will be at Hodge Cemetery, Artie. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.
