Gregory Reid

Gregory Eugene Reid, 49, of Mount Hope, WV died on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at his home. Born February 19, 1958 at Beckley, WV he was the son of Joyce "Peggy" Williams Reid Ruff of Maple Fork, WV and the late John Earl Reid, Sr. He was a disabled cook. Mr. Reid attended the First Assembly of God, Mount Hope, WV. Additional survivors include one son, Michael Small of Arnett, WV; four daughters, Elizabeth Delgado and her children, Celestine, Gesselle and Nadia of Chicago, IL, Melinda Kerr, her husband, Brian and their daughters, Kayla, Aleigha and Rochelle of Beckley, WV, Marion Bryson, her husband, Johnny and their children, Alicia and Alijah of Glen Rogers, WV, and Shaunna Amick and her children, Elijah and Haley of Shady Spring, WV; one brother, John Earl Reid, Jr. and wife, Zelma "Sissy" of Maple Fork, WV and three sisters, Barbara Ruff and husband, Kenneth of Maple Fork, WV, Dana Stump and husband, Steve of Cool Ridge, WV and Kelly Graham and husband, Jimmy of Maple Fork, WV. Services will be on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Jessie Parker officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Friday, November 30, 2007 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Daniel Young, Jay Morgan, Ashton Shepherd, Kenny Ruff, Brian McGuire and Johnny Bryson will serve as pallbearers.
