Gregory Giles Kees

I'd rather be fishin... Gregory Giles Kees , 60, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, May 13, 2013 at CAMC - Memorial Division in Charleston, WV. Born December 10, 1952 at Charleston, WV he was the son of Delmer Giles Kees of Shady Spring, WV and the late Jessie Katherine Peal Kees. Greg was a Mechanical Pipe Fitter for DuPont. A US Navy veteran, he served during Vietnam. To say he was an avid fisherman would be an understatement. Survivors include his wife, Della Mae Smith Johnson; two daughters, Jessie Treadway and husband, Marshall of Oak Hill and Lorna Lewis and husband, Danny of Walkertown, NC; and a brother, Mark Kees and wife, Sharon of St. Augustine, FL. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Aaron Lewis and Kristal Lewis and a great granddaughter, Alyssa Stewart. In keeping with his wishes Mr. Kees was cremated. Family and friends are invited to a time of remembrance which will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Thursday, May 16, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
