Greene Coleman

Greene Coleman Jr., 75, of Mount Hope, WV died on Wednesday, February 04, 2004 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV following a short illness. Born February 01, 1929 at Long Branch, WV he was the son of the late William Green and Elizabeth Hewlett Coleman. He was retired from Siltex Mine, New River Company. Mr. Coleman attended the Kilsyth Freewill Baptist, Kilsyth, WV, and was a member of the UMWA District 29, Local 1353. He served in the US Army during Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill and Bernice Coleman; sisters, Frances Keeney, Laura Miller, Joy Mace and Lottie Humphrey. Survivors include wife, Della Wriston Coleman Sons: Ralph Coleman, Sr. and wife, Eudora, of Oak Hill Roger Pritt Coleman of Mount Hope Daughter: Kathy McNeely and husband, Randy, of Scarbro Brother: Clyde Coleman of Sharon, WV 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Thursday, February 5, 2004, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Friday, February 6, 2004 at 11:00 am at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Bill Bennett officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill WV.
