Grace Allene Waugh Pittman , 91, of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV.
Born September 05, 1923 at Twin Branch, WV she was the daughter of the late Clarence Howard and Herma Ellen Stewart Waugh.
Mrs. Pittman of the Pentecostal faith. She was a homemaker.
Her husband, William Daniel Pittman, Sr.; sons, William Daniel Pittman, Jr. and William D. "Butch" Pittman; and daughter, Donna Gaye Pittman preceded her in death
Survivors include sons, Jim Pittman, Sr. and wife, Wanda of Nashville, TN, Rocky Pittman and wife, Lana of Pax and Corky Pittman and wife, Andrea of Oak Hill; daughters, Drema Gambill and husband, Thomas of Oak Hill, Joyce "Susie" Conner and husband, Danny of Oak Hill, Lori McDaniel of Oak Hill and Tammy "Buffy" Darnell and husband, Gary of Beckley; brother, Harry Waugh of Oak Hill and sister, Yvonne Leffel of Oak Hill.
She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and two special best friends, Betty Bush and Jeanette Simmons both of Oak Hill.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Grace's caregivers, especially Karen and Kim.
Funeral services will be on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, in Oak Hill with Rev. Charles "Rocky" Pittman, Rev. Freddie Meadows, and Rev. David Bain officiating. Burial will be at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville.
Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Corky Pittman, Tom Gambill, Eric Lewis, Billy McDaniel, Daniel Pittman, Stephen Smith, Geoffrey Pittman and Jimmy Pittman will serve as pallbearers.
