Goldie Mae Price

Goldie Mae Price, 97, of Oak Hill died Monday, July 18, 2005 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill. She was born April 7, 1908 at Ashford, WV, a daughter of the late Charley Kirk and Myrtle Frashure Kirk. She was a homemaker and grandmother; a member of the Oak Hill United Methodist Church and the Pythian Sisters #132, Oak Hill. She was also a member of the Rebecca Bible Class and 3 F Group. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Price, who passed away on August 10, 1977; one son, Curtis K. Price; two daughters, Myrtle Alma Price and Betty Jo Price. Survivors include two son, Harry K. Price and wife, Bo of Oak Hill and Charles Price of Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren, David Price, Tim Price, Danny Price, Sam Price, Vicky Porter, Charlie Price and Andrea Fortner; twelve great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty, Camilla, and Martha. Funeral service will be 11:00 A. M.,Thursday, July 21, 2005 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Dr. John Sauvage officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call from 7 until 9 PM on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
