A lifelong resident of Maple Fork, WV, Goldie Lodema Pittman Addison, 77, died on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at her home. Born April 02, 1928 at Cirtsville, WV she was the daughter of the late Carl and Jenny Belle Davis Pittman. She was a retired sales clerk at Eddie's Market in Bradley with 29 years service. She was also a homemaker and a great wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Addison was a member of the First Church of God, Carlisle, WV, was on the TV Lanes Bowling League for many years and a member of the Pittman Sisters (Louise and Lodema). She also sang with the Barley's for many years. A daughter, Nora Maxine Lilly and a grandson, Vernon Lilly preceded her in death. Survivors include her hsuband, William S. Addiso, Jr.; two daughters, Linda Gayle Poland and husband, John, of Maple Fork and Brenda Kay Turner of Maple Fork; one son, William David Addison and wife, Brandy, of Maple Fork; three brothers, Herman Pittman and wife, Irene, of Maple Fork, Carl Pittman , Jr. and wife, Shirley, of Bradley and Jack Benny Pittman and wife, Teresa of Maple Fork; three sisters, Lucille Hurd of Maple Fork, Louise Ellis of Cranberry and Lula Belle Legg of Oak Hill; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Friday, September 16, 2005, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Services will be on Saturday, September 17, 2005, at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Dianna Pittman, Rev. Robert Barley & Rev. Herman Pittman officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV.
