Gloria May Torgerson

Gloria May Smith Torgerson, 71, of Hilltop, WV died on Monday, October 29, 2007 at Hilltop Center in Hilltop, WV. Born July 18, 1936 at Summerlee, WV she was the daughter of the late John H. Smith and Minnie Bell Criss. Mrs. Torgerson was a member of the Gentry Missionary Baptist Church, Sanger, WV and a homemaker. A brother, Robert G. Criss and a sister, Alice Jean Criss preceded her in death. Survivors include one brother, Jack E. Criss of Cleveland, OH and six nieces and three nephews. Graveside rites and committal services will be on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Drennen officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, November 1, 2007 from 12:00 Noon to 12:45 PM.
