Gloria Doss Coots

Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far about rubies. Proverbs 31:10. Gloria Ann Coots , 92, of Colcord, WV took her journey home to be with the Lord on the morning of Monday, September 24, 2018.

Born June 25, 1926 at Dakota, WV she was the daughter of the late Henry and Opal Stover Doss.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Coots; son, Fred Coots; and grandchildren, Jodi Lynn Small, Honey Dawn Dillon, Melissa Susan Dillon, Rick Coots and Dennis Coots.

Survivors include children, Debra S. (Jerry) Dillon, Joellen (Mike) Legg, Ralph Eddie (Kay) Coots, and Mark Coots; grandchildren, Robert Dean Coots, Andrea Faye Gold, Gloria Gaye Springston, Jerry Wayne Dillon, Christopher Matthew Dillon, Tristan Phillip Coots, Sherri Lavata Maynor and Regina Marie Simpkins; seventeen great grandchildren;a and one great-great grandchild

The family extends a special thank you to hospice nurses Paula, Amber, Angie and Becky.

Funeral services will be on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Ameagle Shepherd Chapel with Pastors Robert Brown, Cecil McCelen and Gary Williams officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.

Visitation will be held at Ameagle Shepherd Chapel on Thursday from 6:00 pm to 9:00pm.

Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
