Glenna R. Carter

Glenna Ruth Carter, 61, of Mount Hope, WV died on Friday, February 26, 2010 at her home following a long illness. Born March 18, 1948 at Mount Hope she was the daughter of the late William Ray and Ruth Evelyn Harmon Carter. Glenna was formerly employed as a cook for the Holiday Inn in Oak Hill. A son, Steven Wormer and a brother, James R. Carter preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, William Carl Dick and wife, Deanna and their daughters, Carla and Brittany of Colcord and Roger Ray Dorton and his children, Casey, Cheyenna, Kordel and Skylar all of Arizona; and additional grandchildren, Jackie and Becky of California and Christopher Wormer of Oak Hill. Also surviving are four brothers and two sisters. In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Carter’s body was donated to the West Virginia University Human Gift Registry. There will be no visitation or service.
