Glenda Gail Toney Adkins , 71, of Port Orange, FL died on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Halifax Health Hospital in Port Orange, FL. following a long illness of ALS. Born May 03, 1941 at Eccles, WV she was the daughter of the late William J. and Anna Patrick Toney. Ms. Adkins was a member of the Port Orange Christian Church and owner of a cleaning service. Her former husband, Jesse Thomas Adkins and a son, Thomas Ray Adkins preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Donna Wilson, Sharon Gutierrez, Deanna Hulvey and Daniel Adkins, son-in-laws, Chris Wilson, Ed Gutierrez and Josh Cardwell, two sisters, Marcella Manning and Nancy McMillion, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. with Rev.Lum Toney officiating. Burial will be at Peters Cemetery, Dothan, WV. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
