Glen Pittsenbarger, 91, of Fayetteville, WV went to be with his Lord on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born November 26, 1918 at Carl, WV he was the son of the late Charles Marion and Lula Pearl Hellems Pittsenbarger. Mr. Pittsenbarger was a member of the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene. He retired from Consol Energy with 42 years service in the mining industry. He enjoyed gardening, bowling and outdoor sports. In addition to his parents, his first wife, Barbara Pittsenbarger of Craigsville; brothers, Chalmer, Leonard and Charles and sisters, Viola, Olive, Mary and Nellie preceded him in death. Survivors include Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Janice Barker Pittsenbarger; son, David Glenn Pittsenbarger and wife, Sherrie of Summersville; daughter, Nancy Lynn DeLaRosa of Charleston; stepsons, Mike Ellison and wife, Cindy of Pax, David Ellison and wife, Pam of Milan, Minn. and Doug Ellison of Beckley and two sisters, Violetta Yoney and Arlena Milmen both of Orient Hill. Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive. Services will be on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Entombment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Prosperity. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. Mike Ellison, Shaun Ellison, Doug Ellison, Terry Groves, David Ellison and Jerry Dooley will serve as pallbearers.
