Glema Cogar

Glema Jean Lafferty Cogar, 72, of Scarbro, WV went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 13, 2003 at CAMA - General Division in Charleston, WV following a short illness. Born August 23, 1931 at Mahan, WV she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Geneva Potter Lafferty. Mrs. Cogar was a member of the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church, Oak Hill, WV and the church ladies circle. She was a homemaker. Survivors include husband, Lowell E. Cogar, Sr. SONS: Lowell E. Cogar, Jr. and wife, Jan, of Kings Mountain, NC Kevin Cogar, Sr. and wife, Carol, Fayetteville SISTERS: Mary Wiley and husband, John, of Chapmanville Joy Cranfield and husband, Frank, of Given Beatrice Bosely and husband, Paul, of Wakeman, OH Patricia Lively and husband, Pat, of Zanesville, OH Rose Bragg and husband, K.D., of Sias Libby Williams and husband, Biddle, of Pax Diana Vento and husband, Ron, of Maryland BROTHERS: Beldon Lafferty and wife, Barbara, of Pulaski, VA Ronnie Lafferty and wife, Rhonda, of Zanesville, OH GRANDCHILDREN: Jessica Cogar, Erin Cogar, Kevin Cogar, Jr., Chad Cogar, Katelyne Cogar and Kristin Newhouse and by a host of nieces, nephews and friends Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, November 15, 2003, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Services will be on Sunday, November 16, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church in Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
