Gladys Woolwine Settle

Gladys Woolwine Settle, 90, formerly of WV, gently passed into the arms of her Lord & Savior Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Harmon House, Mt. Pleasant, PA. She was born March 28, 1920 in Cirtsville, WV, a daughter of the late Rufus and Lillian Basham Woolwine. She was a loving homemaker and a member of the Dunbar Baptist Church for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman M. Settle (3/7/1976), and sisters, Frances Bolt, Florence Shumaker and Helen Mathews. Surviving are her children, Sondra Ledford & husband Leon of Lakeland, FL, Drema Hubbell and husband, Chuck of Connellsville, PA, Trecia Settle of Greensburg, PA, and Herman Settle of Cirtsville, grandchildren, Rhonda Lopez and husband, Al of Dickson, IL, Michelle Lenderman of Rockford, IL, Denise Khidirian and husband, Eddy of Lakeland, FL, Dan Hitchcock of Richmond, VA, Blaine Hitchcock of Connellsville, Brian Settle and wife, Sherry of Algier, NC, Kim Blevins and husband, Mitch both of Algier, NC, Brad Settle of Beckley and Derek Settle and wife, Candace of Beckley, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great great granchildren. We love and miss you! Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope. with Pastor Hans Murdock officiating. Burial will be at Pax Community Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
