Gladys Marie Norton Cottle

Gladys Marie Norton Cottle, 75, of Harvey, WV died Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital after a long illness. Born October 11, 1938 at Elizabeth, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Fullerton Norton. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Cottle was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Harvey Cottle, Jr.; two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Harvey Cottle; six children, Ellen Aguirre and husband, Ted of Houston, Texas; Michael A. Cottle, Sr. and wife, Hattie, Mary Abshire and husband, David, and Donna Conelly and husband, Charlie, all of Mount Hope, James Cottle and wife, Tiffany of Sun Mine Road, and Margaret “Maggie” Voiers of Harvey; eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; four brothers, William Norton and wife, Marge of New Jersey, Timothy Norton and wife, Willa of North Carolina, Danny Norton and Ronnie Norton, both of Oregon. Funeral services will be at 4:00 P. M. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Pastor Jessie Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Hilltop Cemetery.
