Gladys June Lightsey

Gladys June Scarbro Lightsey, 68, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV from injuries received in an automobile accident on Rt 612 at Carlisle, WV. Born December 10, 1938 at Mossy, WV she was the daughter of the late R. L. and Violet P. Wriston Scarbro. She was a disabled Nursing Assistant and Cook for Hilltop Center, Hilltop, WV. June attended the Apostolic Holiness Church in Oak Hill. She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Wayne Lightsey. Survivors include sisters, Carol Sue Scarbrough and husband, Max of Beckwith, WV and Marsha Huddleston and husband, Fleming of Oak Hill, WV; brothers, Fred Scarbro and wife, Tara of Kansas, Ronnie Scarbro of Jacksonville, FL and Terry Scarbro and wife, Rhonda of Beckley, WV. Graveside rites and committal service will be on Monday, July 30, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill with Rev. Carlos Lewis officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Monday, July 30, 2007 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM.
