Gladys Pennnington Hinkle, 83, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, January 07, 2004 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV.
Born March 04, 1920 at Lincoln County, WV she was the daughter of the late Amanda Pennington.
Mrs. Hinkle was a member of the Sun Missionary Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Hinkle and a son, Donald Hinkle.
Survivors include sons: Darrell Hinkle of Glen Jean, Roger Hinkle of Fairview, Marvin Hinkle of Oak Hill, Edward Hinkle of Ypsilanti, MI, Roy Wayne Hinkle of Oak Hill, and Kenneth Hinkle of Iron Station, NC; daughters: Joyce Stover of Mount Hope, Eleanor Jarrell of Oak Hill, Barbara Flowers of Statesville, NC, and Karen Dotson of Tiffin, OH; sisters: Bessie Mae Houchins of Bakersfield, CA, and Mabel Perdue of Lake Zurich, IL; 27 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, January 9, 2004, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
Services will be on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at 3:30 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Jessie Parker officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV.
