Gilbert F. Donelow, 79, of Minden, WV died on Wednesday, February 03, 2010 at CAMC - Memorial Division in Charleston, WV. Born April 29, 1930 at Lawton, WV he was the son of the late Rollie and Hetty Fitzwater Donelow. Gilbert retired from New River Coal Company and was a member of the UMWA. A son, Pat; grandson, Chuck Yeary; five sisters, Ethel, Louise ,Shirley, Sheila and Wanda and two brothers, Luther and Sammy preceded him in death. Survivors include wife, Bonita Kay Fleshman Donelow; ten children, Linda Lou Donelow of Mount Hope, Brenda Scott of Mount Hope, Floyd Donelow of Mount Hope, Sharon Yeary of Ravenna, OH, Drema Kay Jones of Asheville, NC, Gilbert Louis Donelow of Oak Hill, Patty Treadway of Mount Hope, Joey Donelow of Hilltop, Donna Epling of Mount Hope and Ruth Ann Owens of Minden; step-son, Matthew Fleshman of Minden; three sisters, Charlotte Wheeling of Richmond, VA, Mary Shrewsbury of Ravenna, OH and Martha White of Ravenna, OH; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Services will be on Monday, February 8, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Darrell Fuller officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Sunday, February 7, 2010 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Sidney Owens, Joshua Donelow, Hale Hutchinson, Paul Jones, Louis Ray Donelow and J.B.
