Geraldine Scarbrough Williams

Geraldine Scarbrough Williams, 68, of Willis Branch, WV, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and Mother of the Church went home to be with her Blessed Savior and Lord on Saturday, October 1, 2011 following a long illness. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pax Worship Center, Pax, WV. Born December 29, 1942 in Clear Creek, WV, she was the daughter of the late Albert Hurl and Irene Elizabeth Dickens Scarbrough. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Paul David Williams, two sisters, Judy Williams and Helen Williams and her husband Roland,one brother, Eddie Scarbrough, one son-in-law, Cecil Williams, and brother-in-law, Bobby Collins. Survivors include her husband, Donald R. Williams of Willis Branch, two sons, Dwayne Williams and wife, Judy of Pax and Gary Williams and wife, Renee also of Pax, three daughters, Theresa Tyree and husband, Robert of Weirwood, Rebecca Pritt and husband, Charlie of Lively, and Sandra Williams of Weirwood, two brothers, Edsel Scarbrough and wife, Ann of Shady Springs and Lewis Scarbrough and wife, Carol of Sand Lick, three sisters Jean Collins of Clear Creek, Ann Sweeney and husband, Mike of Sweeneysburg, and Ruth Scarberry and husband Buddy of Clear Creek, and sister-in-law Sandra Scarbrough of Clear Creek, twenty-two grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at 1:00 P.M. at the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Mt. Hope, WV with Rev. Dwayne Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Willis Branch Community Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the funeral home from 6:00 til 9:00 p.m. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
