Geraldine L. Fleshman

Geraldine Lucille Irvin Adkins Fleshman, 88, of Troy, OH formerly of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Harbor Side Healthcare in Troy, OH. Born April 09, 1918 at Kilsyth, WV she was the daughter of the late Vollie Wilson and Lillie Belle Maddy Irvin. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse for Oak Hill Hospital. Mrs. Fleshman was a member of the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church, Oak Hill, WV. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Johnny W. Adkins; second husband, Robert A. Fleshman, one son, Toney Adkins; three daughters, Lottie Jane Dunn, Diana M. Treadway and Estie L. Phelps; six sisters, Ila Mae Smith, Isabell Gorsky, Rosie Thomas, Mary Moody, Virgie Irvin and Elizabeth Irvin; and three brothers, Eldridge Irvin, Boyd Irvin, and Frank Irvin. Survivors include one daughter, Juanita V. Burton of Richmond, VA; one son, Thurmen S. Adkins of Troy, OH; an adopted son, William H. Adkins of Johnson City, TN; two sisters, Catherine Stowers of Ohio and Louise Bennett of Beckley, WV; two brothers, Lloyd Irvin of Beckley, WV and Orwne Irvin of Mississippi; seventeen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV on Thursday, September 14, 2006, from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Services will be on Friday, September 15, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Daniel Rice officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill WV.
