Gerald L. Hostetter

Gerald Laird Hostetter, 54, of Scarbro, WV went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born March 03, 1952 at Montgomery, WV he was the son of the late Phillip Reese and Effie Mildred Lee Hostetter. He was a disabled Respiratory Therapist for the VA Medical Center. Mr. Hostetter was a member of the Lochgelly Baptist Church, Lochgelly, WV. He was a US Air Force veteran. Two brothers, Richard Wayne Hostetter and Gary Layne Hostetter preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Mary Hostetter; one daughter, Misty Stover of Oak Hill, WV; three brothers, Phillip Hostetter of Charleston, WV, Alan Hostetter of Columbus, OH and Rodney Hostetter of Oak Hill, WV; one sister, Sylvia Hager of Ironton, OH and two grandchildren, Rebecca D. Gay of Scarbro, WV and Jonathan Stover of Beckley, WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, March 3, 2007, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Sunday, March 4, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lochgelly Baptist Church in Lochgelly with Bill McClung officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV with military graveside rites by VFW Post 3110, Oak Hill.
