Georgia Wriston

Georgia Vida Bragg Wriston, 83, of Scarbro, WV died on Saturday, November 13, 2004 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV following a long illness. Born February 21, 1921 at Dothan, WV she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Rosie Ritchie Bragg. Georgia was a homemaker and of the Pentacostal faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman R. Wriston on Feb 29, 1984 and one grandchild. Survivors include daugthers, Sandra Hall of Rt 1 Scarbro and Mona Thiem of Aplina, MI; sons: Alfred Herman Wriston of Warren, MI and Charles Herbert Wriston of Rt 1 Scarbro; sisters: Wanda Painter of South Carolina, Rachel Eldridge of Grayson, KY and Sylvia Griffith of Grayson, KY and by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Graveside rites will be on November 18, 2004 at 1:00 pm at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill with Rev. Eugene Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV.
