Georgia Hale Smith

Georgia A. Hale Smith , 71, of Glen Jean, WV died on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born September 27, 1940 at Minden, WV she was the daughter of the late George and Creasey Foley Hale. Mrs. Smith attended the Oak Hill Apostolic Holiness Church and was a homemaker. Her husband, Donald Smith and a sister, Emma Kennedy preceded her in death. Survivors include one daughter, Donna Bailey of Robson, two sons, Ronald Smith and wife,Irene of Oak Hill and Frank Smith of Charleston, and one brother, Roy Smith of Whipple. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Olivia Evans and husband, Chad, Jacob Bailey, Cameron Smith and Cory Smith and four great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Evans, Elijah Evans, Samuel Evans and Judah Evans. Funeral services will be on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Jeff Floyd officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
