George Besleigh Thompson George Besleigh Thompson , 87, of Grand Blanc, MI formerly of Princeton and Pax, WV died on Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at Hilltop Healthcare Center in Hilltop, WV. Born June 1, 1915 at Pax, WV he was the son of the late Luther Claiborne and Stella Louella Besleigh Thompson. He was a retired Dispatcher for N&W Railway, Princeton, WV with 42 years service. Mr. Thompson was a member of the Church of Christ, Beckley, WV, . He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Ellison Thompson; Stepmother, Bircie Thompson; and a sister, Maxine Thompson Survivors include SON: Roger F. Thompson and wife, Mitzie, Grand Blanc, MI DAUGHTER: Sandra J. Weiss and husband, Kenneth, Covington, VA SISTER: Mary Jo Knouff, Blacksburg, VA BROTHER: Raymond Haney, Maryland GRANDCHILDREN: Sherry Hubbard and husband, Allen, Grand Blanc, MI Donna Lesher and husband, Eddie, Covington, VA Kenneth Liptrap and wife, Julie, Covington, VA GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Rachael and Chelsie DuTorn, Grand Blanc, MI Logan Hubbard, Grand Blanc, MI Trey Lesher, II, Covington, VA Jessica Lesher, Covington, VA John and Luke Liptrap, Covington, VA Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Friday, April 4, 2003, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Services will be on Saturday, April 5, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope.
