George Galen Shrout

George Galen Shrout , 74, of Craigsville, WV formerly of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, September 04, 2013 at CAMC - General Division in Charleston, WV. Born March 08, 1939 at Oswald, WV he was the son of the late Buckner and Ophelia Ramsey Shrout. He was a retired surface mine foreman for Ellen Inc. of Beckley. Four brothers, Thomas Shrout, Edward Shrout, Charles Shrout and Chester Shrout preceded him in death. Survivors include two sons, Ritch Shrout and wife, Michelle of Centerburg, OH and David "Skip" Shrout and wife, Cindy of Westerville, OH; brother, Noel Shrout of Derry Hale and sisters, Bethel Martin of Mill Creek and Hildred Dodrill of Dille. Also surviving are four granddaughters, Brooks Brooks of Columbus, OH, Amanda Rossey of Westerville, OH, Mindy Goudy of Westerville, OH and Caylee Shrout of Westerville, OH; two great granddaughters, Brianna Brooks of Columbus, OH and Taylor Ducilli of Westerville, OH and two great grandsons, Tyler Rossey of Westerville, OH and Zaylan Shrout of Westerville, OH. Funeral services will be on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with John Wood officiating. Burial will be at Nutall Cemetery, Edmond. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
