George S. Kinser

George S. Kinser, 88, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, June 04, 2007 at Fayette Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville, WV. Born December 13, 1918 at Kincaid, WV he was the son of the late G.S. Kinser, Sr. and Julia Belle Kincaid Kinser. He retired from Milburn Colliery with 32 years service. Mr. Kinser was a member of the Kincaid United Methodist Church, the UMWA and a 50 year member of the Oak Hill Lodge No. 120 A.F. & A.M. As the last surviving member of this family he was preceded in death by five sisters, Oretha Bradbury, Opal Payne, Ann Johnson, Dorothy Todorovich and Ruby R. May and three brothers, Wilburn Kinser, Woodrow Kinser and Fred Kinser. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Virginia Kinser and by several nieces and nephews. Services will be on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Arolette Stover officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV with masonic graveside rites by Oak Hill Lodge No. 120 A.F. & A.M. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
